Gate Valve can be divided into single slab gate and double slab gate valve. FC Style Gate Valve is one type of gate valve, designed and
manufactured with a single gate and have a full bore according to API 6A specification.
The FC gate valve features a non-rising stem with a slab gate, Full-Bore Thru-Conduit Design, Floating Slab Gate and Seats , floating seat ring body bushing design to provide safe dependable service. It is available in flanged or threaded ends in standard bore sizes from 1-13/16 thru 4-1/16 in working pressures of 5,000 psi thru 10,000 psi wp. Seat rings, body bushings, gate, stem are easily replaced in the field, Simple routine maintenance program limits repairs, eases operation, protects against corrosion, and extends service life.
Features of Gate Valve
* The body & bonnet can be made of forged or Cast.
* The gate valve is designed with Metal-to-Metal seal, gate to seat, seat to body, bonnet seal and stem backseat.
* Bi-directional Sealing make the gate valve more reliable,
* All internal parts of gate valve can be inline changed.
* Non-rising stem of the gate valve is made by Alloy-nitrided or 17-4 stainless steel, the pressure in the body cavity will not increase during valve operation, can replace stem packing under pressure.
